Welcome to Quantum Arts

Quantum Arts presents acoustic folk music shows in Northern Colorado. Show season is fall, winter and spring. We have a number of favorites that return often, and a number of new people we introduce from time to time.

It’s been a really, really long time!!  In fact, the last time we gathered was for the sold-out Tom Paxton show at Avogadro’s on February 23rd 2020!!  We sincerely hope that everyone is well and is ready to hear Live Music again!

So, it is with a keen eye on the CDC recommendations, local, city and state guidelines, that we return from an 19 month hibernation with two of our most consistent acts:  Johnsmith & Dan Sebranek and Moors & McCumber!

JOHNSMITH AND DAN SEBRANEK:  Sunday, November 21st; Magnolia Theatre At Lincoln Center; 7:00 PM; $25 general admission.

That’s right – just one show this year in a 226 seat theatre for John and Dan.  John has always wanted to try this, and now seems like the time.

Tickets go on sale on October 21st ONLY at Lincoln Center.  If you purchase in person at the Box Office there is no service charge.  Box Office opens Tuesday at noon thru Sunday.  Expect service charges for phone and on-line orders.

John, Dan, and others have just recently emerged from the studio where they recorded 14 new tracks.  Now it’s on to editing, mixing, and mastering, with the finished product expected in early 2022.  We will definitely be hearing some of the new songs on the 21st, along with all the old favorites.

Because of the size of the venue, John and I are asking that you please mention the show to at least one person.  That would help a lot.  Thanks!!!

MOORS & McCUMBER:  Sunday, December 5thThe Comedy Fort, 167 North College Avenue;  6:00 PM;  $25 general admission.

Yes, a new venue for us.  It is the site of the former Hodi’s Half Note, purchased by a new owner, cleaned up, remodeled, and turned into a club for touring comedians.  Ours will be the first live music event there!  We hope to turn it into a Folk Club – at least part time.  They have a full bar, theatre-type seating, and we will be bringing in good sound!!  There is no kitchen.  They will have food trucks behind the venue, and will have QR codes at the seats for food orders.  You’ll probably recognize the bartender from Avo’s – please say hi to Will!!  Parking is in the Laporte Avenue city parking structure (free on Sundays) or on the street .

Tickets will be available on Brown Paper Tickets, or by phone: 970-412-6731, and will be on sale at the Johnsmith show.   Capacity is +/- 120.

MOORS & McCUMBER’S new album is called “Survival”.  This will be their local cd release concert.

Currently The Comedy Fort requires masks and proof of vaccination.  All staff has their shots.  Check this site frequently for any updates.
